I've never had any bad run-ins with hospital doctors. :/

Picton Hospital. D| I went there at 4am this morning because I could barely breath. And the resident doctor said that my throat was fine. I could have throttled him if I had enough strength. xD

Pfft, you shoulda told him "HUMANS BREATHE WITH THEIR LUNGS" XD But hmm... maybe it was because it was early? D: I've only ever gone around noon/afternoon... and the only bad thing to happen was when I was having an allergic reaction, and the nurse said, "Oh, your family doctor is here, I'll get him to come and check you out, ok?" and I was like nooooooo~ because all he does is hand out prescriptions, which of course, he did. Stupid bastard. He fuckin' gave me a prescription for stomach ulcers that supposedly works for allergies. I need a new doctor.

Whereas the first time I went to the hospital for the same reason (although that time I was rushed, because I blacked-out while walking up the stairs), they brought me in within minutes and gave me a needle of Benedryl, which cleared everything within 20 minutes. It was quite pleasant. XD

Ohhh, I remember you telling me about the Denedryl thing. xD Well, the thing that ticked me off about this doctor was that he didn't even really give advice on what to do. I'd been taking cough meds since sunday evening, and advil to keep the swelling down so I can actually breath. He told me to keep doing the same stuff, even though I'm getting progressively worse since Friday.

I dunno. I think I might have to go up street and get some heavy duty nyquil. xD

And is it like, a cold or flu or something? The only thing I know that has to do with throat swelling is food allergies, which can be kinda dangerous. D8

Well, my friends at school all got a cold, but then I got it like 50 million times worse than any of them did. I just wake up in the night almost gagging because I can't take in a breath. It's scary as hell. D| I'm not looking forward to tonight though. It's going to be a crappy night's sleep and I have to write two exams tomorrow. xD

Get yer Nyquil XD And if that doesn't work, try Buckley's. I've never tried it so I can't describe just how BAD it tastes, but I know from those in this house that DO use it, that it works very well. D:
